Ben Sayers is all-rounder geoscientist with almost 20 years’ experience working on the upstream exploration industry, virtually all on the African continent. He has worked mainly in the service industry but spent some time at an Operator in Morocco, making a commercial gas discovery. He was formally Director of Africa and Middle East for TGS for 7 years before leaving in 2021 to pursue projects that help nations as opposed to shareholders. Representing GeoPartners at the MSGBC Event, where Ben has a long-relationship with all host nations, he is proud to have witnessed and assisted in the progression of the nations as drilling has proved up hydrocarbon reserves and commercial production commenced.
