Aïda Mbaye is a Senior Manager at Performances Group, a strategy consulting firm operating across West and Central Africa. She supports the Government of Senegal in the design and rollout of Vision Sénégal 2050, and advises both public institutions and major industrial players on the development of extractive-sector value chains, industrial strategy, and national transformation programs.

With more than 12 years of international experience, Aïda has worked across Africa, the Middle East, and the United States. During her time at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) in Dubai and Houston, she led strategic transformation projects for national oil companies, ministries, and large energy players. She began her career as a reservoir engineer with Schlumberger, giving her strong technical grounding in the energy ecosystem.

Aïda is widely recognized for her expertise in local content, industrial competitiveness, and Africa’s energy transition.

She holds an MBA from HEC Paris and an engineering degree from Arts et Métiers ParisTech, and represents a new generation of African leaders committed to sustainable and inclusive industrialization.
