Energy Capital & Power hosted the first-ever MSGBC Oil, Gas & Power 2021 conference and exhibition, under the patronage of H.E. Macky Sall, President of Senegal, and in partnership with the Ministry of Petroleum and Energy, COS Petrogaz, Petrosen and various US and Canadian energy industry associations.
The event covered the entire region from Mauritania to Guinea, and also invited other important players in the region such as Algeria, Morocco and Côte d’Ivoire and held talks with investor delegations from the United States, Australia, Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
The promise of significant gas revenues also prompted the implementation of a global gas-to-power framework aiming to fuel the region’s growing demand for energy, as well as opportunities for exports. A lower electricity price will boost the competitiveness of the local industry and provide greater opportunities for consumers. MSGBC Oil, Gas and Power 2021 also highlighted the growing importance of technology in the region’s energy industry.
MSGBC Oil, Gas & Power 2021 created a national platform for constructive dialogue on natural resource management, investment and initiatives for enhancing the productivity and sustainability of the current power matrix.
Energy Capital & Power’s top priority remains to keep our people, partners, and clients safe.
