ECP Invites Media to Attend SSOP 2022 In-Person or via Live Stream

Media will have the opportunity to attend two deal-signing ceremonies taking place at the event, offering exclusive access to South Sudan’s most recent partnership developments as the country strives to expand business and investment in the East African region.

In official partnership with the Ministry of Petroleum and the Ministry of Energy and Dams, the two-day event will tackle the energy transition, capacity building, as well as a skills and technology transfer in the oil, gas, and power sectors.

Under the theme, Gateway to East African Energy, SSOP 2022 will set the stage for key discussion points including the official opening of the country’s most recent licensing round, strengthening capacity-building, positioning South Sudan as a frontier market for green energy, energy as a catalyst for economic expansion, future projects and opportunities across the entire energy space, the interaction of oil companies with local communities, and key investment areas in 2022 and beyond.

To apply or register contact to receive the chance to interview ministers, high-level delegates, and speakers. Media will have the opportunity to attend the conference for free, either in-person or via live stream, and will be given the chance to participate in South Sudan’s emergence as a leader in East African energy development.
